A Jar Full of Marbles

In her book Dare to Lead, Brené Brown discusses trust and vulnerability in leadership. She uses the metaphor of marbles in a jar: Each time a person builds trust with you, you put a marble in a jar.

Over time, those whose jars are full are the ones you can trust. They are the people in your life with whom you can have vulnerable conversations. While reading the book, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for those few people in my life who stand by me with a full jar of marbles. These people allow me to never walk alone.

Who are the people in your life with a full jar?
